Hatmill Announces 2025 Chosen Charities on International Day of Charity
Hatmill Announces 2025 Chosen Charities
Every year on 5th September, International Day of Charity, organisations and individuals around the world come together to celebrate the spirit of giving. At Hatmill, giving back is a core part of who we are. That’s why we’re proud to commit 1% of our annual profits to charity, supporting causes that truly matter to the team.
Donating 1% of our profit to charity
This year, our colleagues nominated and voted for the charities we’ll be supporting in 2025. We’re delighted to share that our chosen charities are:
- Papyrus – Prevention of Young Suicide
PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people. - War Child
A global charity working to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children affected by conflict and war. - Leicester Hospitals Charity
Supporting patients, staff, and visitors across Leicester’s hospitals by funding projects that go beyond what the NHS can provide.
Putting employees at the heart of giving
One of the things that makes our charitable giving special is that our employees drive it. Each year, our team nominates and votes for the charities they care about most. This ensures that the money we donate has a genuine, personal connection to our people and a meaningful impact in the wider community.
Spotlighting our charities
Over the coming months, we’ll be shining a spotlight on each of these three incredible organisations. We’ll share more about the vital work they do and why our employees chose to support them.
Why Hatmill gives back
As a consultancy, we’re committed to more than just business success—we believe in making a positive difference in society. By supporting charities through our 1% profit donation, we’re contributing to causes that save lives, protect vulnerable communities, and improve healthcare services.
Simon Dixon, Founder of Hatmill said:
“We genuinely care about helping to build a brighter future for our clients, colleagues, and communities. We’re proud to support these inspiring charities, not just financially but also through in-kind contributions as our charities of the year.”
Greggs Breakfast Club
Hatmill also partners with the Greggs Foundation to provide free breakfasts to a number of pupils at Casterton Primary Academy and Colne Primet Academy in Burnley. This healthy, nutritious start to the day helps set the children up for a day of learning.
On this International Day of Charity, we’re proud to reaffirm our commitment to social responsibility and celebrate the inspiring work of our chosen charities.
