Hatmill joins The Greggs Foundation Charity Walk 2024
Supporting a cause close to our hearts
Alex Stuart, Dave Atkinson and Josh Mannix from Hatmill took part in The Greggs Foundation Charity Walk, a 12 mile walk taking in a circular route through scenic landscapes, starting and finishing at the Ad Gefrin distillery in Wooler.
Joining 200 other walkers, the Hatmill team completed the walk in 4hrs 33 mins, clocking up an impressive 73,542 steps between them and raising almost £600 for The Greggs Foundation.
Greggs School Breakfast Clubs
Hatmill also funds two Greggs breakfast clubs in Burnley to provide school pupils with a healthy start to the day.
Lynne Hindmarch, Greggs Breakfast Club Manager said:
“By taking time out of the working week, our Greggs colleagues, partners and supporters helped raise funds that will play a pivotal role in supporting our Breakfast Clubs.
“Fundraising events such as these are vital to enable us to continue growing and sustaining our Breakfast Club programme. Currently, we operate almost 1000 breakfast clubs, providing a brighter start for more than 70,000 children every single day. In these challenging times, as the cost of living continues to affect households across the nation, the importance of breakfast clubs cannot be overstated.”
