Marking World Children’s Day by Celebrating Our Support for War Child

Today, 20th November, is World Children’s Day, and we’re taking the opportunity to shine a light on one of our 2025 chosen charities: War Child.

Shining a Light on War Child: Our 2025 Charity Partner Helping Children Affected by Conflict

War Child has one clear mission — to protect, support and stand up for children living with the impact of war. It’s a mission that feels more important than ever. Through education, mental-health support, emergency assistance and long-term recovery programmes, they give children in conflict zones the chance to feel safe, rebuild their lives and look towards a brighter future.

The charity was nominated by our colleague Sophie Rushbrooke, who has supported War Child for many years. Sophie shared why this partnership matters so much to her:

“I nominated War Child because of the incredible work they do supporting children affected by conflict around the world. Every child deserves to feel safe, have a happy childhood and dream about the future. War Child helps make that possible — offering hope and showing them that a brighter future is within reach, even in the toughest places on earth. Their mission has never been more vital, and as someone who has supported them for many years, I feel more strongly than ever that no child should have to grow up in the shadow of war.”

We’re proud to support a charity that puts children’s rights, safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. On World Children’s Day, it feels right to pause, reflect, and recognise the incredible impact organisations like War Child have around the world.
