Hatmill Celebrates Triple Shortlisting at Yorkshire Leadership Awards 2026

Hatmill is pleased to share that it has been recognised across three categories in the Yorkshire Leadership Awards 2026, organised by TheBusinessDesk.com.

The awards ceremony will take place on 12 March 2026, bringing together organisations and leaders from across the region to celebrate impactful, inclusive and purposeful leadership.

Recognising Collective Leadership

Hatmill’s Founder and CEO Simon Dixon has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Professional Services Leader
  • Company Leader (51–100 employees)
  • Transformational Leader

While the nominations reference leadership roles within the business, they reflect the collective effort of the entire Hatmill team. Strong leadership is made possible by a culture shaped and upheld by people across the team, those who deliver for clients, support one another and contribute to continuous improvement every day.

About the Yorkshire Leadership Awards

The Yorkshire Leadership Awards were established to recognise individuals and organisations who demonstrate meaningful leadership that strengthens teams, workplaces and the wider regional economy. The awards aim to highlight:

  • leaders who empower their people
  • organisations that embed strong values, and
  • approaches to leadership that create sustainable, positive impact.

Judging is undertaken by an independent panel drawn from across Yorkshire’s business community. This year’s panel includes senior figures from professional services, industry, academia and regional business organisations, each bringing experience of supporting leadership, growth and skills across the region.

A moment to reflect

Responding to the announcement, Simon said:

“It’s brilliant to see the team’s hard work reflected in these shortlistings. Hatmill’s progress over the years has been built on shared contribution, openness and a commitment to doing the right thing for clients and colleagues. These nominations recognise the collective effort behind that.”

The shortlist provides an opportunity to reflect on the business’s growth, its employee-owned model, and the shared responsibility that sits at the heart of how Hatmill operates.

Looking ahead

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in March, but for Hatmill, the shortlisting itself serves as a valuable acknowledgement of the work taking place across the business. It highlights not only leadership in a formal sense, but also the everyday decisions, collaboration and ownership shown throughout the team.
