Since joining Hatmill in 2021 I have supported the NHS supply chain across several projects including the nationwide vaccine response and the reduction and closure of the NHS PPE network. Before joining Hatmill I had a year of experience within procurement at Nissan Motor Corporation involved in new project sourcing and cost-saving.
Starting my career with a focus on modelling and data analysis.
Over the course of my studies, I focused on logistics and supply chain, giving me insights into theory which has supported me in operational environments so far.
My industrial placement gave me experience and responsibility, managing supplier relations within the procurement team alongside Supporting multinational sourcing projects based on analysing and modelling cost savings.
Since joining Hatmill I am very proud to have been part of the team supporting the NHS supply chain and the response to Covid-19 along with the program to streamline the UK PPE network.
Key highlights below:
- Supported the development and implementation of system improvements which drastically reduced wastage levels nationwide.
- Managed the introduction of a complex range of new SKUs to the system and planned the inventory levels of stock to support distribution nationwide while avoiding waste.
- Involved in a site closure program to vastly reduce the size of the NHS PPE network.
- Key skills include data analysis using a variety of tools including power query, power BI and SQL.
My skillset includes cost and data analysis, cost saving modelling and lean supply chain processes and implementation.
