Marking World Earth Day at Hatmill
World Earth Day is celebrated annually on 22 April. We all have our part to play in protecting the planet and fighting for a brighter future.
At Hatmill, we’re committed to sustainability and social responsibility. Our charitable efforts are integral to our culture, reflecting our dedication to positive impact. Since 2019, we’ve allocated 1% of profits to support causes, showcasing our commitment to social welfare. Several of these charities support the environment including The British Beekeepers Association.
As part of our ESG strategy, we aim for net zero emissions by 2039 and B Corp certification later in 2024, aligning our business success with societal and environmental responsibility.
Science Based Targets Initiative
We have successfully joined 5000+ global businesses that have had their net zero targets approved by the Sciences Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). This is an important step forward on our sustainability journey.
Hatmill Carbon Reduction Plan – PPN 06/21 Compliant
Our PPN Compliance Report, in collaboration with sustainability experts Flotilla, has been a crucial step in the way we understand our carbon impact. By establishing a baseline of operational emissions and setting achievable reduction targets, Hatmill is taking proactive steps towards sustainability.
