Hat trick of appointments for Hatmill boost automation and sustainability capabilities
Supply chain and logistics consultancy Hatmill has recruited a host of new industry experts to boost its automation and sustainability capabilities.
Aaron Thomas, Freddie Swift and Shaun D’Arcy have joined the employee-owned consultancy as consultants as the firm looks to expand into the US and Europe after over 13 years of consistent growth and success.
Aaron Thomas has over 20 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics working for a variety of companies. In 2016, he founded a start-up venture and multi-award-winning business that integrated solar and telematics with commercial vehicles reducing fuel use, emissions and vehicle maintenance costs. His role at Hatmill will be to support clients in achieving carbon neutral and net zero within their supply chain
Freddie Swift previously worked at DHL and URBN in both operations and transport roles. He has considerable experience in the aviation, healthcare and retail sectors. His role will be to support Hatmill’s clients build sustainable supply chains of the future.
Prior to joining Hatmill, Shaun D’Arcy was a Senior Director at Johnson & Johnson, with over 22 years of experience leading Logistics, Supply Chain Operations and major transformational programs in the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical and Consumer Healthcare sectors for the North of EMEA. His expertise in the Healthcare and Lifescience sectors will be an asset to Hamill’s clients who are looking to build more resilient, fit for future supply chain operations.
Forefront of automation in supply chain
Hatmill is at the forefront of automation in the supply chain and its projects have increased in number and size over the last year with the firm managing projects with a total CAPEX value of over £1.5bn. Clients include Asda, Greggs and Royal Mail.
