Stan La Haye

I enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges and working with people to turn good plans into real change.

I help organisations design better supply chains and turn strategy into practical solutions that work.

I have almost 20 years’ experience in supply chain consulting, working with organisations across Europe on complex supply chain, logistics and operational challenges. I joined Hatmill in 2026 after almost 10 years with Chainalytics and NTT DATA, having started my career at KPMG Advisory and CLX Logistics in the Netherlands.

My work spans supply chain strategy, network and logistics optimisation, operating model design, sourcing and procurement, operational improvement and transformation. I help clients understand complex challenges, develop practical solutions and translate them into clear plans for implementation.

Recent work includes reviewing the European network of a global electronics manufacturer, covering 26 warehouses and more than €500m in logistics spend, and supporting the optimisation of its pan-European footprint for D2C and B2B demand. For a global pet food and pet pharmaceuticals manufacturer, I assessed the network and operating model, including DC requirements, go-to-market changes and warehouse insource-versus-outsource options, and developed an optimisation roadmap with quick wins and prioritised initiatives. I have also led a multi-year sourcing programme for a global beverage and brewing company, covering more than 50 bid events across freight and warehousing in multiple regions, from baseline development through to negotiations and contracting.

I enjoy working where strategy meets reality: understanding the bigger business challenge, getting into the detail where needed, and working with people to develop solutions that deliver business value and are workable in practice. Alongside client work, I have led consulting teams and built long-term client relationships across Europe.

Hatmill’s practical and collaborative approach fits naturally with how I like to work, and I’m looking forward to helping clients solve complex supply chain challenges while contributing to Hatmill’s growth in Europe.

The best supply chain solutions are the ones that make sense on paper and work just as well in practice.

By improving their demand forecast, we helped one client save £3m in agency staffing costs (that’s an 18% reduction).
