I have recently joined Hatmill after working with Royal Mail to deploy its Automated Hubs programme; the largest transformation project in its 500-year history. Throughout my career, I have worked in multiple roles across the logistics sector from Transport Planning and Operations to Automated Warehousing.
My key areas of expertise include:
- Automation – Leading the deployment of two major automated hubs, I have gained the acumen required to understand and manage complex automation through the technical teams involved.
- Project and Change Management – I approach project and change management with a positive and a personable style. Having particular experience in resource management; risk mitigation; project governance; communications management and benefits realisation.
- Continuous Improvement (CI) – As a CI Practitioner I am expert in the use of CI tools and techniques to drive efficiency and effectiveness through organisations. Specifically, I have been successful in delivering road safety and financial scorecard improvements through telemetry redesigns and frontline coaching sessions.
- Transport Planning/Operations – I have a keen eye for detail and logical approach to problem solving, which underpins my experience in transport planning. I have worked within planning teams to optimise National Networks and planned, secured, and managed over 6,000 road haulage contractors to support peak capability.
