Scope 1, 2 & 3 Emissions Tracking Software
Tracking emissions across transport, warehousing, and supply chains is evolving from manual spreadsheets to smarter, connected digital systems. Through our partnership with Flotilla, Hatmill helps businesses gain clear, data-driven insight to manage and reduce emissions across their operations.
Sustainable Logistics
What is our Carbon Accounting Software?
The Flotilla World platform is a purpose-built solution for managing and reducing carbon emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Developed by our trusted partner Flotilla, it incorporates Hatmill’s supply chain knowledge to reflect the realities of complex logistics networks, multi-site warehousing and large transport operations.
How does it work?
The platform simplifies data collection by gathering data across accounting, operational and supply chain activities to build a clearer picture of business-wide emissions. It brings together information on fleet fuel use, warehouse energy consumption and supply chain activity to create a more complete and consistent view.
Scope 1, 2 & 3 Emissions Tracking
Users can begin with high-level spend-based data and move towards more detailed, activity-based inputs as information matures. Once data is collected, the platform provides complete visibility of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions across operations and the wider supply chain. Data is transformed into dashboards that highlight emission hotspots across fleets, sites and suppliers, supported by analytics that show progress against reduction targets.
Full Integration
The ability to combine multiple data sources, including via API’s where available, enables a streamlined process for carbon accounting, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.
Live Project Planning
A live project plan connects measurement with action, allowing businesses to track initiatives such as fleet decarbonisation, energy efficiency measures or waste reduction in one place. The platform also includes policy tracking tools that flag applicable legislation. Employee surveys extend insight to commuting and hybrid working patterns, building a fuller picture of emissions.
Backed by Hatmill’s expertise, this digital approach helps logistics and supply chain organisations simplify carbon accounting, improve accuracy and embed sustainability within everyday decision making, turning data into direction on the path to net zero.
Flotilla World Features:

- Integrated Data Capture Across Accounting, Operational and Supply Chain Activities
- Live Project Plan Connecting Measurement with Reduction Initiatives
- ESG Actions Library Tailored for Warehousing, Logistics and Supply Chain Operations
Flotilla Platform
Integrated Data Capture
Collects data from accounting, operational and supply chain activities to build a single, consistent view of emissions. The platform can draw on information such as fuel use, electricity consumption, waste and water data, helping businesses understand where emissions occur across their network. This removes the need for spreadsheet-based carbon accounting and provides a reliable baseline across fleets, sites and suppliers.

Flotilla Platform
Dashboards and Analytics
Visual dashboards turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. Emissions can be viewed by site, supplier category or emission source, with the ability to explore Scopes 1, 2 and 3 in detail. Performance can be tracked over time, enabling users to benchmark against targets, compare operations or divisions, and analyse emissions intensity ratios such as tonnes of CO₂e per £ million revenue or per employee.

Flotilla Platform
Live Project Plan
Connects measurement with action by linking emission sources directly to reduction initiatives. Each project, whether upgrading warehouse lighting or introducing low-carbon fuels, can be assigned owners, timelines and estimated savings. Progress is tracked in real time to ensure visibility and accountability, and plans can be shared with teams or stakeholders to support collaboration.

Flotilla Platform
ESG Actions Library
Offers a growing library of actions across transport, warehousing and supply chain operations. It goes beyond decarbonisation, covering Environmental, Social and Governance areas such as energy management, employee wellbeing, ethical procurement and community engagement. Each action includes the rationale, impact, and potential cost-benefit, helping businesses prioritise meaningful improvements across all areas of ESG performance.

Flotilla Platform
Scenario Modelling
Enables users to test the impact of sustainability actions before implementation. Scenarios such as introducing a building management system, switching to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), adopting electric vehicles or implementing double-deck trailers help identify potential carbon and cost savings. Users can also track uptake over time to see how each action contributes to overall progress and reduction targets, supporting informed investment and planning decisions.

Flotilla Platform
Regulatory and Policy Checker
Monitors sustainability and carbon reporting frameworks such as Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Based on the organisation’s profile, it factors in headcount, turnover and operational scope to highlight which obligations apply. The tool also flags upcoming policy changes and reporting deadlines, helping businesses stay compliant and ready for new disclosure requirements.

Flotilla Platform
Employee and Engagement Tools
Includes digital surveys to capture commuting habits, home working trends and sustainability attitudes from employees. This data feeds directly into Scope 3 reporting and helps businesses better understand travel patterns and workplace behaviour. Results can also inform staff campaigns, awareness sessions and climate literacy training, embedding sustainability across the organisation.

Flotilla Platform
Reporting and Secure Data Storage
Enables clear, annualised reporting by consolidating all emissions data, reports, and even supporting carbon credit certificates in one place. The platform brings together everything needed for external disclosure or internal board reviews, ensuring transparency and consistency across reporting cycles. All information is stored securely, giving businesses confidence that their data is accurate, traceable and audit-ready.

“Throughout our time working with Hatmill, I have remained impressed with the organisation, focus and tenacity of the team, and they have been instrumental in helping our organisation reach some critical decision points. The team are engaging, personable and a pleasure to work with.”

What does the platform do?
It collects, analyses and reports emissions data across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, giving logistics and supply chain businesses clear visibility of their carbon footprint and progress towards net zero. The platform turns complex data from across fleets, sites and suppliers into actionable insights that help identify emission hotspots and track improvement over time.
-
How does it differ from other net zero platforms?
It is designed to support logistics, warehousing and supply chain operations, reflecting the real-world data these sectors rely on, such as fuel use, fleet type, subcontracted transport and energy-intensive sites. The platform helps businesses measure emissions more accurately, manage sustainability actions and plan long-term decarbonisation with better operational insight.
-
Can the platform support compliance reporting?
Yes. The policy checker highlights which UK and EU reporting regulations apply and stores evidence for SECR, CSRD and Science Based Targets (SBTi) alignment. Users can quickly access the information they need for audits or external disclosures, saving time and ensuring confidence in reporting accuracy.

Scope 1 Emissions
Scope 1 emissions are the direct greenhouse gases a business produces through its own operations, such as fuel use, heating, and refrigerants. At Hatmill, we help organisations measure and reduce these emissions to cut costs, stay compliant, and progress towards net zero.
Scope 2 Emissions
Scope 2 emissions are the indirect greenhouse gases from purchased energy, such as electricity for warehouses, cold storage, or EV charging. At Hatmill, we help businesses cut these emissions through energy efficiency, renewable power, and sustainable operations.
Scope 3 Emissions
Scope 3 emissions are the indirect greenhouse gases across a company’s value chain, from transport and packaging to suppliers and waste. At Hatmill, we help organisations map, measure, and reduce these often complex but critical emissions.
