Hatmill shortlisted for six Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2022
Hatmill is delighted to be named as finalists in six categories for the prestigious Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2022. Winners will be announced at the award ceremony, taking place on 8 November in London.
The awards are now into their 26th year, becoming the benchmark for supply chain best practice, attracting entries from across the UK and Europe. The awards are renowned for their rigorous judging process which also provides valuable feedback for entrants from our judges, with over 250 years’ experience.
Greggs Balliol National Distribution Centre (DC)
Hatmill in partnership with Greggs has been shortlisted for the Balliol National Automated DC project in the Infrastructure category. From initial concept through to end of cutover, Hatmill worked to scope, project manage and deliver Greggs new, state-of-the-art £26m Balliol National Distribution Centre.
The facility consolidated Greggs’ legacy network of 4 external storage sites into a single, purpose-built national DC facility and is estimated to save 7% of total mileage (or 900 tCO2e) a year in transport emissions.
NHS England & Partners
Hatmill is very proud to be shortlisted for four categories alongside the NHS and partners who supported them through the vaccine programme. The project was a critical collaboration with other consultancies with one common goal – to develop a new vaccine supply chain separate to normal NHS logistics, ensuring that vaccines were delivered as needed.
Hatmill was engaged by NHS England to develop and manage the supply chain network for distribution of COVID-19 vaccines throughout England. The appointment was made as a result of our achievements in establishing and running the COVID-19 PPE distribution and supply functions.
We’re looking forward to celebrating with our clients and partners on the night!
