I specialise in transport and pull experience from an operational and solution design background.

I have over 20 years experience in the Logistics Industry and have a skill set that spans solution design, network optimisation, project management, and commercial modelling. I specialise in transport and pull experience from an operational and solution design background with TDG, Hoyer, XPO and Ceva Logistics. ​

Having started my career after earning a BSc (Hons) degree in Logistics at Aston University, I gained experience in a number of logistical roles before moving into consulting. Working as a Solution Design Manager at XPO, I took the role of solution design lead on numerous client projects in the manufacturing, construction, and retail sectors. Clients included Wavin, Hanson (packed goods) Premdor and B&Q.​

During my career, I have developed knowledge of a variety of strategic, tactical and operational modelling tools including Paragon, DiPS and AIMMS. I am also a proficient user of these and mapping software such as Powermaps. ​

​Recent experience includes:​

• Supporting a customer to re-structure their Home Delivery Network as a consequence of one of their customers ceasing trading. Work spent understanding and mapping their current network and future operations resulted in £400k of savings identified​
• Solution Design responsibility for £20m of customer renewals alongside £60m of new customer business over a 5 year period ​
• Cost-saving network integration/optimisation projects for customers who operate in the construction, retail and manufacturing sectors. £2.5m of savings were identified through centralised planning, improved fleet utilisation and consolidation of previously distinct operations.​

I also spent 9 years at CEVA logistics as a Solution Design Engineer, working on projects in the media and retail sectors. My time there gave me valuable experience in project management, performance improvement, network integration  and cost savings. ​

​I am currently working on a project with a leading food-to-go retailer who is experiencing significant business growth, and has further ambitious expansion plans in the short-medium term. They require support with their immediate capacity constraints, and help to build a network roadmap which would grow capacity in line with their sales projections. ​
