Todd Dodson

I joined the Hatmill team in 2023 to drive our North American expansion, based on my 25 years experience in the industry. My focus areas are demand and supply planning, global warehousing operations, and transportation management.

My role at Hatmill is to drive our North American expansion, harnessing my passion for supply chain and logistics, which began in MBA school and has taken me to over 30 countries solving business challenges with world class companies and colleagues.

I joined Hatmill in 2023 after 25 years of supply chain planning and logistics experience in global manufacturing companies including Cummins Inc., Stanley Black & Decker, TE Connectivity, and Honeywell. Below are some highlights from my supply chain journey, and I welcome the opportunity to assist with your supply chain opportunities.

  • Demand and Supply Planning:  Implemented Advanced Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for 8 different business units with global revenues ranging from $500 million to $2 billion per year.  Delivered significant on-time customer delivery improvements (typically from low 80’s to mid-90’s) while maintaining or improving inventory turns and reducing global premium freight spend.
  • Global Warehousing Operations:  Site Leader for 1 million square feet highly-automated warehouse. Led 6 new DC startups and consolidated 13 smaller DCs into larger sites. Implemented common warehouse management systems &  labor management systems. Directly responsible for up to 30 global DC operations in previous roles including designing and executing the logistics operating system.
  • Transportation Management:  Implemented innovative “Next Day by 8am” warehousing and overnight road freight solution for North American aftermarket business, increasing annual sales from baseline 4-5% to 10-12%. Directly responsible for annual transportation budgets up to $300 million and delivered 4-7% average annual cost reduction with heavy focus on Transportation Management System implementations, freight consolidation and mode-shifting initiatives, while maintaining or improving existing transportation lead-times.
