Fiona Macpherson
I started working with Hatmill in 2012, after setting up my own Virtual Assistance business in 2009. Before that, I built my experience in large corporate IT and recruitment organisations, working across management, recruitment and operational roles.
Operational support to the ever-expanding team
Since joining the team permanently in 2022, I’ve taken on a cross-functional role, giving me a broad, joined-up view of how the business operates. I now focus on people and internal communications, including the ongoing development of our intranet to keep everyone connected and informed.
Alongside this, I look after our marketing and social media, helping shape how we present ourselves externally. I’m also involved in progressing data security and AI across the business, supporting how we continue to evolve in a fast-changing environment.
A key part of my role is continually reviewing how we work—making sure our processes are simple, effective and fit for purpose—while being mindful of our culture and preserving what makes the way we work at Hatmill unique.
