I joined Hatmill in 2023 as part of the first graduate scheme cohort. I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in business management, with a year in industry at a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
I have experience in continuous improvement teams in warehouse environments and will continue to improve supply chains.
During my year in industry, I worked in a fast-paced environment, facing many global challenges head-on. At Faurecia, I was a member of the continuous improvement team, where I helped coordinate new product launches, automate processes, and lead teams to implement change. I enjoy taking on new projects; they are an opportunity to apply past experiences and my skill set. In my previous role, I worked on projects that improved deliverables on the shop floor through liaising with higher management and operatives working on the production line. This allowed me to deliver results which improved productivity within the plant.
In between terms at University, I worked at a food distribution company. Where I gained experience working in a warehouse and understanding industry processes, I will be able to bring this knowledge to future projects I am involved in. While at University, I was involved with public speaking, mentoring schemes, and sports clubs, which has helped me further develop my confidence and soft skills.
My prior experience has given me a great start to my logistics and supply chain career. I look forward to continuing this journey at Hatmill.
